Gators and Guns is a member of Premium Tours and Transportation, which is one of the area’s most inclusive tour services, offering a variety of options across New Orleans, Louisiana.
Gators and Guns was founded in the Spring of 2016, and features two exciting activities – a fully automatic indoor shooting experience and a two-hour airboat tour of the Louisiana swamp and bayou.
At Gators and Guns, we are excited about showing off two of the most exciting and unique tour experiences available in Southeast Louisiana, which is why we’ve developed a variety of packages designed to fit any tour and excursion needs. Whether you’re interested in experiencing both gators and guns, gators only, or guns only, each of our tours start with front-door pick up from your hotel in one of our executive coaches.
Our standard gators and guns tour begins with a short ride to New Orleans' premier shooting range where you will shoot the assault rifles and hand guns of your choosing, followed by an exciting airboat ride across Jean Lafitte Swamp, home of some of the finest alligators the Louisiana bayous have to offer!
For safety reasons tours are restricted to the following groups: Anyone with back or neck injuries, children under 10 years of age and expectant mothers. You must also be able to board the airboat without assistance.
For shooters under 21 please call for information on semi-auto packages.
Located just outside of New Orleans, the area’s newest indoor shooting range provides the most comfortable experience in Greater New Orleans. Their brand new facility features top of the line equipment and furnishings along with two separate seven bay ranges, allowing our guests a private experience as the certified range instructors walk you through proper gun safety and operation.
While shooting, every shooter will be accompanied by a range instructor, ensuring your comfort and safety from start to finish.
An airboat tour of the Jean Lafitte swamp combined with extremely knowledgeable airboat captains, provide you with the perfect opportunity to see and learn about the wildlife, history, and ecology of the swamps of Southern Louisiana.
On this tour you will be brought face to face with the residents of the swamp including: herons, egrets, and plenty of alligators! With 20,000 acres to explore you’ll get to experience the thrill of a full throttle airboat ride across open water as well as the sounds of the swamp as you drift silently through the narrow waterways.
